... calling me at work to explain that the Dishwasher is flooding the kitchen and what would I suggest the best course of action may be ??
I have bullet pointed what I feel may be best in the dire circumstances:
- Turn machine off
- Mop up ( now that may prove tricky !!)
- Locate manual by opening bottom drawer in kitchen, retrieve plastic wallet containing a book which has Hotpoint Nextra Dishwasher emblazoned all over it - do not under any circumstances read anything which may contain the words Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer or Fridge as thaey will be as much help as a chocolate fireguard.
- Carefully open machine to ascertain either a) blockage or b)incorrect loading resulting in the aforementioned leak.
- Should he be unable to resolve the problem - DO NOT CALL AGAIN - remove items from the dishwasher, close it up return to navel gazing or purchases of ridiculous items of Ghurka memorabilia or whatever guise "I'm busy working" is taking today and I will deal with it upon my return from work, the supermarket and collection of our daughter from pre - school.
You have to laugh don't you ????
