The missing raspberry I can live with. All those dangling wires though? No way!

I thought this was a baking pun for a thread about 'counting their chickens'.

I also noticed this a few years back and have to look away during the opening. I also feel weirdly satisfied to see the extra slice cake which is done properly

I've always soothed myself with the thought that they couldn't quite finish it because Mel and Sue called time.

Doesn't it show a hand removing / putting it on the cake though in the credits, I'm sure it does?

They didn't just forget it, its a story.

Never mind the raspberries (which have been like that forever), those wires coming out the bottom of the telly would drive me bonkers

Seven bloody years that missing raspberry has bugged me. Maybe channel 4 will buy another one.

The Lost Raspberry of The Tent of Doom has annoyed me for years too. But this week I felt a little bit sad thinking that it will only be seen for a few more weeks before the big sell out . Of course it will be spotted for years to come in afternoon repeats, but it won't be the same.

I decorated a cake and thought of you lot today (and it doubles up for those with that odd hole phobia).

They are all upside down!!

I would still eat it though. All of it.

Either it's massive or your raspberries are tiny. Can you take another photo with something beside it so I can gauge the size please?

The missing raspberry has never bothered me! I quite like that it isn't perfect. You lot are weird

I'm afraid it has indeed all gone. It was a 25cm cake, the raspeberries were quite small (from the garden). DD (6yo) started the decorating (raspberries upside down), so I'm placing the blame for that on her! Sorry to any trypophobics out there.
I did add the missing raspberry once I'd taken the photo though, I'm not that reckless.
