Hi, my youngest child is 6 months old. A few days ago (3), he slipped in my arms when I removed him from the bath and I luckily caught him, but by his neck/head area, He's been fine since but I worry. What do you think? Thanks

I pictured his head Nick taking weight of his body. That's different. But for piece of mind get him checked over

Thanks. No I didn't full on catch him by his head. And yeah I am one of those people. I worry all the time about everything. And it was only a little slip. Its not as if all his weight was being held by his head. I just worry. He didn't slip very far at all tbh

It depends for me. If you full on caught them by the head then I would take them to be seen. If it was just a case of you putting your arm out and then supporting their neck head and they didn't hit hard/seem distressed, they are moving their head fine and you have a tendency to play things over and worry then I wouldn't.

I expect he is fine, but I'd get him seen anyway.

It's just because it's playing on my mind. He's been fine, no marks, or change in behaviour etc. Tbh at first I was just relieved he wasn't hurt etc because I caught him. Where I caught him didn't really occur to me

Wow you were lucky.. but to be safe I'd take baby to get seen. I would have took him right away. Not to make you feel bad but I think your being careless to only ask about that three days later.
