Awww yis! I said this to DP during the latest Sherlock and he looked at me like I was nuts. Aul Rupert was wearing those shit faux mutton pubey sideburn things at the time, so I could see where he was coming from. I also fancy Neil from The Office, he's lush. I think my "type" could be summed up as Hot And In Middle Management.

I still wonder what saint-like acts Gina McKee committed in a previous life which got her in the middle of all this [see pic]. Even if DL has a teeny tiny mouth I would still go there.

oh yes....sorry, I am such a fan of Andrew Scott I sort of assumed everyone knew, lol!

but yes, it took me a while to work out if I fancied Andrew Scott or Jim Moriarty. Came to the conclusion it was both Grin

I love the swimming pool scene when he says of Watson "I should get me one of those ...a live in one" - or some such.

ooh I forgot the Forsyte Saga - he was lush in that too.

Must admit, not come across anyone having a crush on Anderson before!!!

I so would.

I also like Martin Freeman for continuing to support the local youth theatre group where he started out.

Rupert Graves is bloody lush.

Rupert Graves was lovely as Young Jolyon in the Forsyte saga too.

Nobody has mentioned him yet but I have a bit of a "thing" for Anderson (not sure of the actor's name) , I think he's hilarious and the banter between him and Sherlock made us howl Grin

Let's be honest though I wouldn't be kicking Benedict Martin or Rupert out of bed!

"I've got a lovely signed photo from Maurice days!!"

He must have signed my theatre programme, but I'm afraid in the ensuing disruptions of family life that it's since been mislaid.

Does anyone else think he looks like a grown up Tom Daley?

OP, have you seen the film "Maurice"? You will die for RG in that.

and...I've seen him up close!

about 2 foot between us, in a cafe in Theatreland. Funnily enough, these days I'd be more likely to say hi, but this was about 12 years ago and I didn't say hi to famous people then. After a couple of accidental nice chats, I now sort of nod hello, because it can be nice to have a chat Grin

didn't know Freeman had said that about rape.....?

I think Martin Freeman is a bit of a miserable twat in real life.

I love Rupert Graves though.

I watched A Room With A View and Maurice on video until the tapes wore out. He was my ideal man (boy) back then... well him and River Phoenix. I still have a soft spot for him.

Met Rupert Graves once a couple of years ago, very very nice indeed Smile I was very heavily pregnant st he time massive and he was very charming

Went off martin Freeman after he made some horrible comments about rape. Can't fancy a man who thinks that slipping drugs in someones drink and having sex with them isn't rape, but merely an aid to sex...

Rupert Graves is lovely, sparkly eyes and a beautiful smile.

However, Mr Buns of comeliness is just delicious. And the voice!

Rupert Graves is a very dashing chap, but in a cheeky with it kind of way, which is an excellent combo.

Mark Gatiss (aka Mycroft, co-writer/producer for Sherlock) has said that he's had a crush on Rupert Graves for years ever since watching Maurice. And yet he somehow resists the urge to write himself any juicy scenes with the man in Sherlock! At least in the Abominable Bride ep they had that midnight gravedigging trip, even if it was imaginary...

Lass noooo, how could you say that about the lovely Cillian! Shock

Although I can see your point about Benedict....

Cillian Murphy reminds me of a goat. It's the long face and peculiar eyes. You probably need to have been around goats
(which I have) to see it. Cumberbatch has a touch of a caprine look too.

Martin Freeman is far too hobbity to be attractive.

Rupert Graves is and was beautiful. He's aging terrifically well.

Hey, other Maurice fans! Though one does need to cope with a tentative Hugh Grant-James Wilby snog before Scudder arrives on a handy ladder... Grin

To the pp who mentioned Cillian Murphy, I've been in his company a few times when he was doing plays in Ireland, and the RL effect is of incredible thinness and pallor. I think the camera lights him up into that lovely fine-boned ethereal look, but in person, he looks (or looked then) consumptive, and as if he might be see-through if he took off his shirt...

Actually, no, the second pic was the one I took, not the first. That's from somewhere else. (Had wine.)
