To ask you what your earliest symptoms of pregnancy were and if it's normal to be a week late!

That's it really. Am very careful with protection and stuff but am a week "late" and can't POAS until the shops open again in the morning.

My first question is whether anyone else has been a week or so late and not been pregnant; the second question is to ask what your very earliest symptoms of pregnancy were.

I'm really not sure I want to be pregnant. I'm a SM and an aunt and am happy with that...much as I love children and babies (and I really do), I don't see myself as a mother :(

Ive known I was pregnant both times before testing as my boobs become very sore- much more sore than the before period ache I sometimes get.

Mine was pain in lower back, extreme tiredness no matter how much I slept and peeing every 5 mins. Usually it would show up as positive if 9 days late. Could be lots of reasons for lateness stress etc

I have been 11 days late and not pregnant. It was stress with starting a new job and my period came in a flood one Saturday morning. That's about all the comfort I can give you!

Feeling shattered really really sleep standing up tired for a few hours at a time and suddenly sleeping like a log at night can't get up in the morning started about a week before my period was due. Also food aversions didn't fancy anything and didn't really want to eat usually I love my grub so it is odd for me not to want to eat.

So you aren't pregnant ....... good news no? Wink If you were 9 days late and preg the test would have been positive.

Sore nipples like I've never had before, feeling a bit dizzy and dislike of alcohol. Definitely do a digital one after waiting a bit of time to wee, but it could just be the uncertainty and stress delaying you.

Going off alcohol was my first clue! Blush

Maybe that mid cycle bleed was a period? Or else you have ovulated late. It's quite common to have the odd missed cycle. I had one or two a few yrs ago.

I've been a month late before now, no reason and usually as regular as clockwork, it can happen.

My main symptoms before I poas this time were period type cramps for about two weeks, and (oddly) a total aversion to coffee. Can drink the stuff morning, noon and night, but a week before I did the test, couldn't stomach more than half a cup. The sickness didn't come until about week 8 for me, I feel for women who have it from the off!

No early signs apart from dizziness and falling down the stairs.

Have been up to 13 days late with no pregnancy though.

Have been a week late and not pregnant.
Earliest signs were nausea, cramps, sensitive to smells, tender boobs, exhaustion. Soon passed after 5 monthsConfused.
Did you do a test op? At least your you'll know. Those tests are well advanced these days.

really strong sense of smell (made my at-the-time partner change clothes before he could come near me because he smoked and it made me feel ill), suddenly being unable to bear the taste of sausages.

but i've been up to 5 weeks late a few times (irregular periods) so no help to you there!

Have you peed on a stick yet?

Tender breasts and a sharp pulling pain in the side of my groin if I turned over in bed too fast or sneezed.

Report
Mousefinkle · 05/05/2015 10:22

Sharp pains and a dragging type pain low down so not really like period cramps, they were more in the pelvic region.
More 'wet' down there, similar to when ovulating.
Outrageously moody all of the time like PMS permanently.
Stabbing pains in breasts and oddly, white spot things on the end of my nipples Hmm.
Sickness and tiredness didn't hit me until six weeks so when I was two weeks late...

Good luck, hope you get the result you want Flowers

Really tired and emotional but the thing that stood out to me was that I had really achy hips! I'm nearly two days late at the moment and am usually like clockwork Confused but have been having mild period like cramp, although, if I remember correctly, I had these with DD too!

My cat acting weird was my first symptom, I would have been less than 1 week when she started following me about and living on my stomach. I took 2 negative tests before finally getting bfp at 4 weeks. DH thought I was going mad but the cat and I just knew Grin

For me it was having to pee every few minutes. As in, going to burst if I don't find a toilet type of feeling.

Can't have been more than a week pregnant at the time, period was only 2 days late by then. But mine are like clockwork.
