If anyone has previously asked me for copies of CS books by email then you should have received an email from me with this list, attachments of any I've not previously sent out - though it is possible that 2-3 titles may not have been sent to everyone.

If you are missing any of the above, and I have your email address, please look out for an email from me. If you haven't had one or want any of the above eBooks, please send me a PM including your email address and which titles you want - you can just list the book numbers.

Is it possible for me to get these CS ebooks please. If so how. Thanks

@TheCSLibraryPree

In case you didn't know, you can scan a page and it uploads it as a word document. You still can read through to edit and ensure that it has scanned properly. If you enjoy the typing process that's cool, but just letting you know, in case.

I was going to come on and say the codliver oil fried doughnuts was in a later CS book - but I see I have been beaten to it. I must have been too busy doing my prep and mending to see this thread earlier!

There should be a Mumsnet, or even a CS, medal for devotion beyond the call of duty. You are amazing! Thank you again.

Hello Tricky,

I literally sit here and type up each book. I do a live in job (it's meant to be alternate weeks but, since end of April, I've only had 2 weeks out) and spend much of my days sitting doing nothing so it keeps me occupied and sane!!

I quite like the routine of sitting and typing page after page and it means I get to read them!!

I am so very grateful for the book which you sent me a split second after receiving my message. But how on earth do you do the transcribing? Surely it is an extremely laborious process?

Library Pree, if it wasn't ghastly tosh we just don't do around here I might have a pash on you. Wonderful work, thank you!

Ahh, now I do remember something about frying donuts!! Can't remember it being during Tirol days, and I've read them fairly recently. Let me do some digging!

I'm pretty sure one of the books has a cod liver oil/olive oil mix up. Someone is sent to get olive oil from matron for frying doughnuts and gets the wrong oil. Tyrol era as I'm sure the American girls are involved somehow:

I've just asked my DSis and that was in one if the magazines apparently, so maybe not in a proper book. They made them and they looked so good they chose them to be served to the people visiting the school. Why they put them in in the first place, or what the outcome was I can't actually remember Confused

Report
TheCSLibraryPree · 27/07/2014 21:30

Don't remember that but there was the time Evvy & Co (I think) put garlic cloves in the apple pies instead of dried cloves. Was in one of the earlier Tirol books.

Which is the one where somebody puts cod liver oil tablets in the shepherds pie? I used to get the monthly magazines, I'm not sure where they are now. I'll have to ask my DSis if she knows.

Hello Micah,

Indeed you are correct, there is Genius. In the Armada books it was split to become Genius and Fete. I have them both and, in due course, will transcribe them!!

I'm sure there was one called Genius at the CS.

Don't think I made it up?

Thanks AuditAngel!!

By the way girls, we ave a big debt of thanks to pass on to my DP - while clearing up at my place this week he's managed to find my previously 'lost or of unknown whereabouts' book - Jo to the Rescue!!

I'm going to transcribe it along with Rebel over the next couple of weeks!!

I know the Real identity of CSlibraryPree.

She is definitely not a Bettany; if she was a Maynard it would probably be Margot, but that isn't right either.

She isn't a Lucy...........
