AIBU?

To think my mum has lost it?

My mummy has grown a big tummy and she keeps trying to tell me she has babies inside it. I mean, FFS. I am not stupid, I know what a baby is!

AIBU to not believe her?

I asked my mummy to 'drink the baby juice' like the two ladies at my preschool.

Why did she laugh? I just want a baby like them?

There's a lady at my nursery with a big fat tummy. She says there's a baby in there too. It's ok though, it's a boy she ate and we all know boys are stinky!

I think my daddy might have a baby in his tummy too, it's really big. I'm so proud of myself for working that one out, but daddy didn't look happy when I poked his tummy and said 'baby'.

YABU. I went with my mummy when she had to go to the hospital to check on the baby & I saw it on the screen. I still don't know why everyone looked at me funny when I pointed & said "there's the baby". It's what they were looking for! Hmm The baby's out now & has just learnt to chase me & steal my toys. If your mummies say there's a baby coming, believe them & start stashing your favourite things. I like to hide mine down the back of the radiator.

You have been warned.

my mummy has a big fat tummy. it wobbles when I push on it... she definitely has not got babies in there... I asked about the red poo but I forgot to wait until we were out in public she said it was because she eats too many pringles. perhaps your mummies are lying so they do not upset other mummies in the toilets?

Well, I've been wishing for Mummy to get a baby in her tummy for ages but Daddy says I'll just have to go on wishing. All my friends have shiny new playmates. I want one too! (But I want mine to look just like Sofia the First)

It's not her tummy, it's her oooooterus. Make sure you tell everyone, loudly, "oooooterus". Serves Mummy right for a) not growing a baby for me like I asked for and b) wanting me to talk proper.

Hmmm. Do they make noises when you poke them? And presents? Do I get presents? Is it glitter? I might love them if they bring me glitter.

Mummy has been telling me for ages there's a baby in her tummy but I've seen how much cake she eats. I'm just nodding and smiling. I know the 'baby' has got me a present so I'm just biding my time.
She also took my nappies away last week. Just because I tried on my peppa pants and said I wanted to wear them. I didn't mean it though! I'm not even allowed to pee in them Hmm

I keep pulling up my Mummy's top and demanding to see her tummy as there is clearly no baby there.

I've told her I don't want a brother or sister so why does she keep asking me?

Yes - she is going to bring Real Live Babies into the house, and you don't even get to play with them like dollies.

YOU DON'T EVEN GET TO PICK WHAT SHE BRINGS HOME! IT MIGHT BE 2 BOYS!!!!!

They make a lot of noise (and sometimes your mummy won't be able to quiet them) and they get to use nappies and pacifiers and bottles or boobies. Mummy and Daddy will carry them everywhere but expect you to walk.

It is awful!

BUT... When they get older (yeah, they even grow!) they can be kind of fun. You will always be the oldest, which makes you the boss.

Don't let Mummy and Daddy think otherwise.

Stick with me, kid, I will teach you stuff...

My mummy told me that too, but watch out - last week she went away and came back with a real baby! She lets me kiss it but gets very cross when I poke it quizzically and smack its head to see what she does.

Give your mummy our love and best wishes and have some yourself too.

How does your mummy have a sparkly bar? Envy

I am not giving up my nappies. No way Shock And what do you mean by picking one? A baby? Mummy says two babies. Are they coming to my house?

I don't have to worry about it for a long time, my mummy said that I can't have a baby until I am 85. There are a lot of old ladies out there!

Did you know they just get fat from eating weird things? Then, you stay with relatives while they pick one (or more) to take your place.

Watch yourself - next thing you know, she is going to want to take away your nappies.

Trust me - I am old!

My mummy tells me the same. All I can see is a podgy cake belly and the sparkly bar that makes her squeak when I pull it!

Oh yes, BabyGrinch. I like standing on the tummy to put clips in mummy's hair, but she doesn't appreciate my style.

How strange that all these mummies have big tummies Hmm

How weird! My mummy said the same thing. I had a good look through her tummy button but I definitely can't see one. I did this face Hmm and left it at that.

Oh I love the big tummy! Who cares what's inside? It's great for grinding an elbow into, or jumping on suddenly, or leaning against then randomly and without warning head butting. Sooo comfy!

You needy peanut until you're at the supermarket, or maybe having tea with local vicar and ask her how it got there.
