OF COURSE YOU FLIPPIN' ARE!!!!?

It's a GNOME and its wearing a MANKINI and, just in case you were in any doubt, it's from ASDA.

That is a lovelier looking story london but the damage is already done and I can't help feeling that Linda is going to meet a sticky end in that pond at the hands of that gnome.

Oh dear god, I've just seen the tankini gnome advert.

Hecate were you also traumatised? And possibly, are you my cousin? Because we were terrified together over that story as girls and she says she's never looked at gnomes the same way again either.

I remember that story! I dont know where it is from either, but I know I have read it.

YABVU.
The mankini one is just vile! Gnomes and mankinis are two things that should just not exist, together or not!
And now thanks to Sarah, I'm freaking out about gnomes! Wonderful! I have a very active imagination but luckily, no one I know owns gnomes!

I bought a gnome from Asda a few years ago because he looks exactly like my lovely next door neighbour. He's not very visible amongst the aquilegia, polygonum and the last of the cow parsley, but I like to know he's there.

My garden is vair, vair tasteful - gnome or no gnome.

What fresh ASDA Hell is this?!

Gnomes are evil.

I mean it, I'm scarred for life because of a garden gnome story in Mandy or Judy or Bunty or whatever girls comic it was I ended up reading as a child.

Family move into new house, elderly owner has disappeared but there's a sweet little gnome in the garden. Family admire and then completely forget it but the moment their backs are turned that gnome gets glowing red eyes and an evil smile and you just know that family are living on borrowed time.

Next thing you know, new young couple are moving into the same house and admiring the sweet little stone family group they find in the garden and make a comment about how much nicer it is that a rotten old gnome and how odd it is that the family who lived in the house 'just disappeared'.

They turn their backs on the stone family and all four pairs of eyes start to glow red and their smiles are all evil and that new couple are as good as dead.

Scarred. For. Life.

Ikea have the right idea. They're a Swedish company. They understand gnomes and they made a very educating video on how to kill the little buggers. Trust Ikea on this and buy a high pressure hose and a bloody big hammer for your own protection.

Is your garden, your choice.

I don't like gnomes, but the zombie ones look cool but I don't think DC will be ok with them.

I may buy one and swap it will one of my mums.
