AIBU?

AIBU to make DP eat his liver & onions in the other room?

Just that really - I brought him liver and onions to have on Thursday night as I'm out and he's had them tonight instead. He's come in late and cooked them up and they absolutely stink. It's making me gag. I told him he could eat in the dining room not on the tray in our living room and his response was "are you really going to make me eat in the dining room?" Mine was, "well, yes". So he is. I feel guilty now

Was IBU?

It is not really his liver that he is eating though, is it?

I like liver. The ex was only allowed soft boiled eggs on holiday in hotels and even then he had to eat them on another table.

Almost gagging at the memory.

But the fava beans. And he brought you a nice chianti.

I'd sit really close to him and watch him eat in a creepy way

I've been craving liver with boiled potatoes for a few months and can't have any as I'm 38 weeks pregnant.

YABU. It smells as it tastes, delicious! I'm not allowed it when DP is there as he claims it is "the most vile food on the planet".

YABVVVU, OP.

You post brought back the lovely liver, onions and mash my dear dead mum used to make. When she was alive, of course.

Liver makes my DH make boaky noises, though he consented to eat pate de foie gras once. Hmm Ponce.

Now I think of it, we made DM eat elsewhere when she was chowing down on honeycomb tripe with vinegar and salad. Bleuurgh.

YANBU. I work as a home carer. I have a certain posse of people I go to help. One has a freezer full of unidentifiable frozen meals (labels off). I am very careful not to make the mistake I made on my first visit...
