Love, love love Friends! I've recently started buying the boxsets of the series as I haven't watched it for absolutely ages as it's never on telly anymore now it's gone off E4 and channel 4.
(I don't have sky and it's not on freeview.)
So today I've been watching a couple while the small people have been at school and I've been tackling the ironing.
My favourite episodes have to be:

• the one with the 'routine' where Monica and Ross resurrect their dorky high school dance routine.

Love love love it. After all these years. I love it and now my teenagers love it.

Is still find it very funny and we watch reruns together if there is nothing else on of any interest.

I think mainly it is so successful, along side a very funny script, because of the chemistry between all the actors.

I liked it 18 years ago when it was first on but I'm sick of the continual repeats. It's tired and dated now. Ross in particular winds me up, what a moany, passive aggressive douchebag. The one where Rachel finally gets a decent job and he tries to ruin it for her by being jealous of her boss is particularly awful.

We bought a church pew online a couple of weeks ago and the idiot delivery people left it outside and so we had to manoeuvre it inside ourselves. Total 'PIVOT!! Lift ... and sliiiiiiiiiide' moment.

Yes, Ross was an insidious son-of-bitch in hindsight, but man, was he happy to let people laugh at him. Some of the funniest storylines involving weeping with laughter at him. Not with him, but at him.

Ross and the spray tan, the leather trousers, Unagi, dance routine...it goes on. Just all of Phoebe. JOEY DOESN'T SHARE FOOD! So many.

I think it's successful because it's consistently funny, much like Frasier. Takes a ton of skill to write stuff like that.

Love love love Friends. A real comfort blanket for me. So many of my favourites mentioned here. I love 'piv-aaaaaat'... Joey doing the ballroom dancing... Phoebe's wedding... Any episode with Janice, oh my gawwwwd... And Richard... Just love it.

Cheesecake Factory is my favourite place to eat in the world (which is totally sad) - I live an hour's flight south of Miami (not Cuba!) and every time I fly up I have to eat there after shopping.

In fairness, I've converted a fair few people who've not tried it before, it's lame but I love it. I love that you can get a ridiculously large filet mignon for like $35 and a rack of baby back ribs that could feed several people. Highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms too. Ahhhh but the cheesecakes. You can't describe them as a slice. They are a slab, nay, a brick if you will, of cheesecake loveliness. If you're super anal like me, you'll get right on their online menu and check out the flavours (which you've probably already done!)

Although there are a fair few of them about, you may not have to detour from your original plan to visit one!

It's something i have never 'got'. Just seems like a bunch of tedious vain twats sitting about congratulating each other on how great they are. It encapsulates a lot of things i think were wrong with the 90's. When you look beneath the surface, you just find a lot more surface. Shallow twaddle.

I love Ross in.series 10, when Ross is fine, and when Ross gets a spray tan I'm an 8!, and im just as bad as joey not sharing food but taking dps food with the worth it look on my face, and joey when he's on the game show, a ghost! and when Chandler is trapped in the ATM vestibule with the Victoria's secret model, ok I admit it, I love it all far too much and dont mind it being on every night in our room to help me sleep especially at 38 weeks pg where im apparently unable to sleep longer that 1 hour at a time

I like the episode, when they bet Chandler he couldnt make jokes about them for the whole day, and temptation to do so was everyone.
