Just back from soft play hell. Ds1 was in the bit for older children playing happily, I was in the under 3's bit with ds2 who is 20 months.

A couple get in with their little girl who must have been about 1. After about 5 mins she was sick a large Amount of food. I picked up ds2 and brought him out while I thought they would sort out their dd, they took a baby wipe and cleaned her face and a second wipe to the floor. Then carried on playingShock. The floor and baby still has sick on them and they had her crawling all over the place.

I just sat there in disbelief and obviously with a huge wedgy from my judgey pants being hiked so high. Obviously I told one of the staff and we then all had to leave, much to the disgust of ds1.

Please tell me this is the worst it gets, there can't be scummier people than that out there!

Hope not, cant.... Sad

I'd like to add the people or person who used to take they dog for a walk behind our old Army estate, bag up the dogshit, walk past the bin and instead hang the bags in the tree like some sort of Blair Witch shitbag tribute. Hmm

Is that why dog poo always used to be white???!!!!

I had a friend whose sister worked in an undercover capacity from time to time.

One evening her and her colleagues were waiting in a dark car park behind a pub in a few cars.

A man cycled into the car park stopped and proceeded to have a large crap. Once that was finished they were surprised to find that he didn't pull up his trousers, but instead proceeded to masturbate over his own sh*te.

They radio'd each other and apparently all switched their headlights on him. He ran off and left his bike, trying to pull his trousers up.

Also, at work once, I came out of a toilet cubicle to find a colleague furiously scrubbing the sole of her shoe with a nail brush (chemical factory... Very important to scrub nails before eating etc). When she saw me looking she shrugged and said "disgusting all the dog poo outside". Then she left the toilets, leaving the nail brush on the side of the sink Shock

My local soft play has a Facebook page, and they announced on there last week that they would be closed for the morning for their annual clean.

DS has been there 4 times, and has been ill after each time!

I am never going to soft play again. How gross!

I am balking at the amount of poo and sick everywhere... YUCK! I've got one, but it's a different kind of "scummy" if you see what I mean...

I did a stint in a supermarket on checkouts at Christmas and a family came through with five kids. They were pleasant enough and were buying a lot of food which they said was their Christmas Dinner. Turkey, lots of different vegetables, yorkshire puds, chipolatas etc, all unbranded versions in order to save the most money. They paid the £50 or so in cash, and then said that the next lot of shopping was theirs as well - cheap booze that totalled over £320.

I was absolutely flabbergasted that they'd gone to such an extent to save money on their Christmas Dinner, only for them to blow THAT MUCH on alcohol. I just can't imagine any circumstance where that's OK...

Ifyoulike - I can't find the words to say what I would like to say, but if I could reach through the screen hug you right now I would. I too hope things are much better for you now.

We were also at soft play today. We witnessed two different mothers threatening to "fucking smack" their children and another who told her child the devil was watching him. No bodily fluids or poo though.

i know of a soft play place, where they fill the balls into shopping trolleys and take them through the car wash :) its the funniest sight [but at least you know they take their cleaning seriously]

we go to a great place in Lisburn, NI occasionally and its brill - the girls (never seen any boys in my defense) constantly cleaning - i think they have the anti bac sprays just glued to their hands. the whole place is shining

My work place is behind a car park with public loo one end. There a a path running from main road to lane we are on and behind the loos, all very open and a busy thoroughfare. Girls who work for me saw a middle aged lady squat behind loos in full view of them ( behind blinds in window) and have a poo. She then wiped with a tissue and walked off. They were gobsmacked since the loos were open and although public are well kept.

I used to work in a nursing home where one of the staff used to bring her children in to work with her.

She used to changed her baby's nappy in the kitchen table.

Hmm

Poolside poo lady was not actually watching the swimmers though, she was in the locker area, fiddling with her nails etc - it was just that she obviously deemed it too gross to consider it could be part of her job to remove random poos and went all dumb-sqeamish-girly on me, simpering about please asking her male colleague as she could not possibly do it

I can offer a little insight into the mindset of someone who smears blood all over a cubicle wall, because I did it once (much to my horror now!) Warning - may be disturbing to some!

I was around 15, living in an extremely abusive/violent household (left me with permanent internal and brain damage), and had been kept isolated from the world (homeschooled, etc) until this particular time when I had been sent to some free computer training for school-age children.

The class was held in a local school, and all the other children there knew each other. I was also extremely dishevelled and smelly (had constant UTIs and no showers/clean clothes for weeks at a time), and made the mistake of telling the children there I hadn't had a bath for two weeks when they asked.

They taunted me, flicked snot at me, and spat chewed up tissue balls at me all through the computer training session, and the teacher seemed disgusted by me too (looking back I honestly can't blame him, I can't imagine how I must have smelt). In that moment, every single hope/dream I'd ever had about the 'outside world' being a better place when I grew up/left home came crashing down.

I felt a real rage come over me, almost literally like a pulsing red mist in front of my eyes, and I went to the bathroom and slashed myself with scissors (had already been cutting for a few years). I hated that place, and all the people there, and in my mind's eye saw it all burning down with them screaming inside (believe me, I know how horrendous that is now). I also had an incredible amount of pent-up rage from my home situation which just kind of fuelled the whole thing.

But in a mad sort of revenge-lust state, I settled for smearing my blood everywhere... every single surface I could find. There was no thought of spreading any disease or anything (I didn't even have this much awareness at the time), it was just that I was in enormous pain, and everyone seemed gleefully ready to aim another kick at me, and for once I just wanted "them" to feel shocked and disturbed, and to feel an unsettled ripple in their 'perfect world' (how it all seemed to my disturbed 15-year-old mind), and perhaps even to feel fear.

I can barely relate to that person I was any more, and remember all those years as if it were someone else, but it does all come crashing back when I hear stories of what other disturbed individuals do, because I was there once. I guess not everyone's motivation will be the same, but I doubt any of them come from a happy place.

Last summer I heard a blood curdling scream from a mum. She lifted her foot from the ball pit to find a poo squished between her toes. I have never been back there!

Story from a friend, a man who was drunk at work, weed into the office water dispenser. Friend had to ring up the water company to get the unit sanitised. Can you imagine the conversation she had??? Friend was glad someone had witnessed the act.Shock

snot if she was poolside, it would be necessary for her to keep a very close eye on the swimmers. It takes a second to drown. Lifeguards have to constantly count the people in the pool to make sure no one has disappeared. She would not have been able to leave where she was to clean up poo.

Somebody recently left a changing cubicle at our pool filled with wee. It wasn't far to the toilets either. They didn't bother to tell a lifeguard, I ended up doing that when I walked in and promptly walked out again to find one. It was disinfected pretty quickly.
We used to have radios when lifeguards at the leisure centre so I could have easily called for someone to clean it up. Not sure why this isn't common anymore.

oh god - do you remember that programme where Flavor Flav was 'interviewing' a new gf (flavour of love or something) and while in the lobby one of the 'ladies' took a dump on the stairs? The worst thing was, it wasn't a dealbreaker for him. He gave her kudos for being true to herself, or some such rubbish.

Oh right Blush

I think I was assuming that the staff wouldn't clean it anyway based on what others were saying about soft play places!
