Is quite an obnoxious little brat?
He is bossy and rude.
Gets on my nerves.
My daughter loves it! So here we are watching it again!

I agree about the Vikings. I cannot fathom why anyone thought that was a good idea.

There's a really weird episode where mike steals the Vikings' snowman and snowballs because he assumes they were going to do naughty things with them. And they get really upset because they just wanted to juggle. But mike never gets into trouble at the end (because, presumably, it's perfectly reasonable to assume those foreign types are up to no good - unless they can prove otherwise).

We may possibly be reading too much into this....
However, agree about the Vikings. Extraordinary stereotyping and utterly historically inaccurate!
Why does the Dad NEVER come home?
Maybe he has a whole other family or a princess in a tower somewhere!

He's a knob. Total knob. The only one that comes out of it with any credit is Trolly (doubt that's the right spelling).

Why would the BBC have this programme on- he sets such a bad example: arrogant, ignorant, entitled, spoilt, misogynistic, xenophobic. The latter is particularly strange to me; why represent another race as idiot barbarians- children may think that it's an ok thing to do.

So, as I said before, total knob!

My ex CEO was called Mike. And he was an entitled overpaid little shit. I took great pleasure in showing selected colleagues pictures of Mike the Knight (while singing the tune) and saying "Guess who's the brave new hero?"

He's an entitled little shit so yes, Tory propaganda is bang on.

Imagine AIBU to give my DS 2 dragons and a horse but only give DD a toad and a bike?

What the hell is the deal with the Vikings and jam tarts?

They decided that knights are cool so made a knight programme, but violence is bad so they've swapped everything remotely physical for something really weird.

Antidote: my DH calls it Ben and Lobotomy, such is it's hypnotic effect on ds :)

Weeping with laughter at the idea of Mike the Knight being Tory propaganda.

I'll have to tell DH. It might even persuade him to stop watching it (with DS obviously).

We have just discovered Ben & Holly, which I am very ambivalent about. But, it is 10mi.s long which means I get to shower in peace.

I worry about poor mr cuddles. He often looks terrified. Imagine what they aren't showing us...

I can see it now ...

Mike's mother, who lives in a £1.2 million castle funded by the taxpayer, keeps two dogs and spends most of her days counting blackberries. Mike's father is absent, lots not known if he contributes financially towards his family but, as his daughter lives in a modified tree stump in the garden, we'd say not.

Imagine the scandal if it got out. It's just the kind of ammunition against the BBC the daily mail have been waiting for...

They don't show those bits on cbeebies. Obviously. They try to keep it hushed up.

Joffrey was probably exactly like mike the knight when he was a preschooler.

AIBU to think that the parents of the same three 'revolving door' patients on Get Well Soon should be investigated for Munchausens by proxy?

Massive lol at the thought of Joffrey being friends with Dany's dragons Grin

mrsgeologis anyone that can link Game of Thrones to Mike the Knight rocks!

Joffrey is a git.

I also am deeply irritated by Mike the Knight. Galahad is cool, though. :)

He's like a watered down version of Goffrey from Game of Thrones. At least Goffrey has courage in his convictions.

We also hate him, horrible character, I always feel sorry for Evie and the dragons. I'll be sure to tell my OH about the Tory theory, he'll love it! Grin

He never fucking learns his lesson does he? Never tries listening to what people are trying to tell him first before fucking it all up. Bad as bloody Thomas the tank engine.

Odious turd. His mother is one of those dog owners that gives dog owners a bad name too.

The Tory thing makes total sense, Mike is an entitled little bastard who does whatever the hell he likes and then tries to blame everyone else for his fuck-ups. I hate him, I wish the dragons would eat him, what kind of a shitty knight is friends with dragons anyway, weren't knights meant to get rid of dragons?
