the op could have been written by me. i HATE new audi's as more often than not they are driven by complete cunts of the 'i have arrived' mentality. apparently alot are driven as company cars to there is alot of the 'boy racer' mentality. obviously, there will be odd occasion when one appears to be driven by a decent human being but most of the time, they are driven way too fast and as always, right up ones arse aggressively too. mind you, range rovers are just as fucking bad, i hate em' and have to drive alot for a living so no getting away from the bastards

As a professional nursery nurse qualified employed nanny of 22 years who is very proud of all the children she has cared for, maybe I should lose my A4?!

I'll drive your most precious belongings to & from their school & activities in a car that isn't quite so safe as it would certainly allow me to keep a bit more of my hard earned salary for myself!

I've been a MNer for a decade.

Too many jealous people over generalising and stereotyping. If you could afford one maybe your views would change

Just got back from Tesco and the wanker who screamed into the carpark scattering trolleys and children right and left and then screeched into a disabled space (sans blue badge, natch) was driving an Audi 4X4! Do I win?

Well, the arsehole who riled me up today was driving a...

Black Fiat Punto 08

Tearing down the motorway, changing lanes to undertake the whole way. I was willing him to be stopped but nay.

I did finally meet him at the lights at the end of the junction exit, which I do enjoy cruising to an oh so casual stop after driving impeccably!

On Saturday I drove up to the village to buy a newspaper. There was a car parked half on an ordinary space and half taking up part of the disabled space beside it, even though there was plenty of room in the normal space if she'd just straightened up properly. It was a 4x4.

On Sunday I was driving down to visit my mum's and was stopped on the main road with my indicator flashing to turn left. A car came roaring up behind me and stopped at the last minute. I turned the corner very slowly because my mother's house is just the third house in and I wanted to give the ignorant knob in the car behind plenty of warning that I was going to be stopping again. He glued his car to my boot and then roared out past me giving me an indignant glare. He was driving a BMW.

I thought of this thread on both occasions Smile.

whatkindoffool that's progress of sorts!

Hmm, me thinks judging a person by what car they drive is just slightly ridiculous and synical!

But then people often buy cars, especially brands considered to be 'prestige' brands in order to project a certain image. Some people who are attracted to these cars seem to see it as evidence that they are 'better' 'more worthy' than others.

I don't think we are immune from this, my 17 year old Corrolla says 'I am prematurely middle aged and a bit short on money' both of which are true.

I think we need a definitive 'the arsehole who riled me up today was driving a...' thread and we can correlate the true responses.

For me, today it was a Ford S-Max who hurtled out in front of me at a roundabout then undertook me later on the M80.

I've found a superb way to irritate Audi drivers. All you need to do is drive at 30 mph in built up areas, slow down slightly when you're near primary schools, and stop at red lights.

Before long you'll have a red-faced middle aged man flashing his lights and gurning at you in the rear view mirror. It's hilarious.

Ha ha!

This thread is harsh, I now drive an Audi so am a twat and use to drive a fiat 500 so therefore used it as a personality!
