It's not in my active convos and I can't see it here.

I found a really good link to an eBay shop selling nice evening frocks.

Amusingly, the advert on this page is for bridesmaid dresses.

Yes a sceptre is possible...diamond or emerald?

Report
NorksAreMessy · 05/02/2013 20:47

Or even DESIGNING one.

A feather duster flourish?

The baby lift was a troll? Weird or what?

Norks it was such a kind thing to do. Don't feel silly.

BupcakesAndCunting · 05/02/2013 20:31

Don't be daft, Norks! Don't stop being kind just because there are a few wankahs on the internet! Thanks

You can do mea tiara any time. I like to wear my wedding one when I am just around the house doing vacuuming and that. I could probably do with a housework tiara tbh.

I posted on the bridesmaids dress thread but had to go out so didn't see anything more.

Norks don't feel stupid. That was a lovely thing to do :)

You just can't get the trolls these days...

Report

Posts on "how to spot a troll" can easily turn into "how to be a better troll", so it's best not to go into it too much.

Ooh, the 'invasion' thing makes sense. "hey let's go and post about innocuous subjects that really upset the girlies" type thing.

Norks, that is so lovely!

Maybe she outed herself as a troll to MNHQ as she was overcome with remorse when she received everyone's links and Nork's offer of a tiara?! Grin

Ahhhh yes I suppose.
Potential trolls of the future read this please: up your game, losers.

I'm enjoying the mumsnet HQ deleted explanations recently
"Hairy hands don't go with the MNHQ colour scheme" Grin

"How do MNHQ know that a poster is a troll? I'm not casting doubt on the knowledge of MNHQ but am just curious..."

The can see the IP address of the poster (even if they have a new account). It could have been a known troll.

Or sometime people on other forums decide to "invade" us. They might be able to see loads of people coming from a link on another forum ("Hairy truckers unite" or whatever!)

That was a troll? The mind boggles.

I offered to make her a tiara :(

BUT I am still glad that I did that JUST IN CASE it had been a genuine person needing some love.

Still sad though

I messaged her/him with some nice links too! Bloody troll-dar must be off. I blame being sick.
