My first crush was the bassist in the band of my sister's boyfriend.

I was 13. That is very late for your first crush - but I was brought up in a very restricted religious environment where there were no boys my age and no pop music/TV/film etc, I had lots of sisters but no brothers to bring boys home, and I went to a girl's school.

The bassist was 19. He had JEANS and a LEATHER JACKET and black hair and dimples and I thought he was the most amazing thing I'd EVER seen.
