Heavens it's hairy. Obviously I wouldn't actually do it but DH and I are both dark haired and she looks like a little gorilla!

Dd had fluffy, hairy shoulders, back and upper arms when she was born, we called her monkey baby. She's now 7 weeks and its pretty much all gone - I miss it :(

getorf I have only just discovered the joys of picking dd's nose, glad its not just me!

DS1 was really hairy when he was born, all furry down his back and on his face. It was mostly gone by about 3-4 months but never really showed that much because he is blond.

DS2 is 11 days old and similarly hairy, but it shows up much more because he is darker.

DH and I are both quite hairy though so it comes as no surprise :)

DS was a hairy newborn and whilst the hair on his ears has now lightened the line of hair going down his back is still very prominent and he's 7!

I used to peel the litttle sheets of dead skin of my baby daughters eyelids

I clearly have issues

My DD had ear hair worse than her granddad's Blush I very nearly almost trimmed the inch long fringe under her earlobe but I once "trimmed" the cat and ended up with hundreds of pounds of vet's bills so DH wouldn't let me.

My dd had this and still does at 3 Shock. Think I'll bleach it!

I was an exceptionally hairy baby too - like a 'little monkey' according to my Dad. It did fall out, I went blonder as a child, but now as a grown up lady of cough-37-cough I'm dark as dark can be, and quite, erm, hirstute. Bah.

Get shares is Jolen for her now. :)

Perhaps sugaring would be more gentle? Or take her to one of those nice threading ladies you see in shopping malls?

My perfect baby boy had a less than perfect scab on his head when he was born.

I dilligently picked it off

He is now 10 and has a bald spot the size of a tuppence

Nothing good can come from grooming babies

Don't say that! My little one had one too and my DH picked it off. Seriously hoping for no baldness!

laughing in shocked horror at Cyb's scab picking antics.

I used to love and adore picking DD's nose for her as a baby. What the bloody hell is wrong with me?

My dd was like a little teddy bear when she was born, covered in dark fur. I found out later that the name Ursula means 'little bear' - if I had known that when she was born I would have called her that.

She had a shock of black hair on her head, it never fell out. It grew and just changed colour eventually, by the time she was 1 she had gingery blonde hair, by the time she was 2 she had golden curls.

She is 15 now and still has lovely think blonde hair, but the funny thing is she has a VERY hairy lower back, and has hairy forearms. Thankfully she is very blonde, she is slightly mortified about the hairy back though.

Bless her though when she is ill I stroke her hairy back, and it takes me back to my little teddy bear days, despite the fact she is now just shy of 6 foot Grin
