new to mumsnet - (harrow area)

Hi everyone

hope your all well

my husband and i are new to mumsnet and we are very shortly going to our very first panel. we are really nervous but really excited at the same time.

we are in the north west london area and we would love to meet, chat etc with any one in same boat or has adopted.

any advice from anyone would be greatfully recieved.

Hi! I don't have any experience with adoption but I came in cos I saw harrow, not far from me. Good luck with everything and welcome to mumsnet :)

Welcome. Are you in contact with any other adopters through your prep course? Is there a adoption support group in your area? Ask your social worker.
I helped set up a support group in our town soon after we adopted our eldest two.

Wow , 30 months is a long time , we were 8 months before panel then 2 months after placed with a baby of 7 months . Good luck at panel x

Hi, my DH and I adopted our DD a couple of years ago. I grew up in Harrow although I don't live there now but we're often there visiting my parents. Am happy for you to message me if you have any particular questions Smile
