Things are moving

Well after a slow start we are off. Our link worker came to meet us today and we kicked off the home study with a view to taking us to panel in August. She was so easy to talk to and seemed a lovely person which I am so relieved about.
However... After 3 days of deep cleaning she still never looked round the house lol. Feels so good that things seem to be moving at a faster pace now. Thanks to everyone here who has supported us so far

That's great news.
Try and enjoy the home study if you can. The SW is not trying to catch you out, just really get to know you. I actually quite enjoyed ours, but then I can talk the hind leg of a donkey. My DH found it a bit more difficult to open up.
Also, don't have a spotless house because they will wonder if you will be able to cope with the mess children make.
My friend got caught out this way.

Great news - I think ours looked round once briefly, and roared with laughter when I told her I'd cleaned out my kitchen cupboards :)
