I love the crazy conspiracy theories. So my favourite ones are that birds arent real and that Paul McCartney is dead and the man we see now is a lookalike.
What about you?

Wasn't there a Dr Who episode about changing batteries in the birds? I assumed that's where the covid/bird battery theory came from. Although I don't know anyone who actually believes it.

Great post (and name) WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll. It annoys me when people dismiss people's genuine and sometimes well-founded questions around official narratives as 'just conspiracy'.

But back to the crazy (as that's what we're really here for) there is a conspiracy theory that David Icke is a conspiracy theory, as in, he comes out with such batshit ideas that he discredits all conspiracy theorists.

I love the one about Paul Mc. There are people who have analysed his ears and say they are proof that he is not the original.

So you think the surgeon was paid off by the Obamas to kill her and said "yeah, no worries"? It's not as though JR didn't have form. If this was true it would 100% have come out before BO became president.

I saw that clip. Yes, Joan did have form for saying outrageous things, but that was the single clip that I personally have ever seen of her when she had no twinkle in her eye or voice and sounded deadly serious. Her death was rather strange and unexpected, if you look into it.

Then again, if Michele had been trans, and if there were an official agenda to heavily 'promote' transgenderism, as could easily be believed from what we read on a daily basis, surely they would have been the ideal people to have come out and admitted it. The Obamas are one of the most popular and influential couples in the world and so highly esteemed and 'cool' that, I genuinely think they could have made enormous strides for trans rights and acceptance by just saying "Yes, it's true: what's the big deal?"

That the DofE gave instructions to MI6 to bump Diana Spencer off. And I’ve met ppl who actually believe it. That and governments are using the covid vaccination to inject v small tracking devices into the population.

Have you been talking to my brother? He said recently "oh the Royal family had her killed. There's no doubt about that"

I bet somewhere on YouTube there is faked 'fake moon landings' footage.

Indeed there is: it was actually filmed on Neptune Grin

phantom time hypothesis. Apparently back in the middle ages 297 years were added to the calender by . I think it was 614 that became the year 911
Therefore if this true, that would make the year 1724.

Others I just find very sad. The people I know who believe them are just unable to cope with real life, they're invariably damaged and vulnerable individuals who have to believe what they do as some sort of self preservation and coping mechanism.

Depends which others, though? Many people have it firmly in their heads that believing (or considering) any conspiracy theories is the sign of an unwell or crazy person - whether it's the replacing pigeons' batteries or royal reptilian ones or suspicions about the true manner of Robin Cook and David Kelly's deaths.

Conspiracies do exist - otherwise people would not be arrested and found guilty of 'conspiracy to [commit a crime]'. What leads to the initial inquiries and arrests if not technically 'conspiracy theories'?

For example, I don't think anybody doubts that it was a conspiracy that led to 9/11 - it's just a case of whom you believe was responsible for that conspiracy.

People don't like to believe that the USA could have been responsible for killing their own citizens, but when you have potential issues such as a tower being reported as having collapsed whilst it's still standing, learner pilots achieving feats that ace pilots with many years of experience have stated they couldn't have confidently done, passports surviving unscathed where metal has burnt to a crisp, the Patriot Act being all oven-ready to bring in straight afterwards....

Regardless of what straightforward explanations there may be for these things, I really don't see why you can blanket-accuse anybody who questions them of being a friendless, vulnerable person with severe mental health problems.

Jimmy Savile was an open secret at the BBC. He spent over a decade of Christmas Days with Margaret & Dennis Thatcher and was a trusted advisor to Charles & Diana, but you'd have to be crazy to assume that he was anything but an enigmatic lone wolf, wouldn't you? Same with another certain royal who's currently hiding very low indeed: is it only the absolute crazies who question if, just maybe, something terrible and criminal might have been going on with him in cahoots with his powerful friends?

I think it's just as ridiculous believing that there are NO far-reaching conspiracies going on in the world as it is to believe that ALL of them are true.

I asked my friend about why the flat earth thing, and she said it is because the world is being run by psychopaths, and they are just chipping away at everything people know to be true, seeing how much they can get away with, and how many can be manipulated into believing rubbish.

That the reason so many teens are exploring being transgender is because of the BPA “gender bending chemicals” in plastic before BPA free became a thing.

Faul McCartney is my favourite one. Oh and they there are 2 Prince Harry’s and their different ears give it away.

Strangely enough, Joan Rivers says that Michelle Obama is transexual in a short clip video, and she died shortly after.

So you think the surgeon was paid off by the Obamas to kill her and said "yeah, no worries"? It's not as though JR didn't have form. If this was true it would 100% have come out before BO became president.

The problem with the (multiple) Bill Gates theories is that no-one can really answer credibly what's in it for him.

If the moon landings were faked the Russians and Chinese would have proved it to discredit the US. It would be a huge coup for them.

I haven't heard the Finland one before but that's now my favourite conspiracy theory.

@Awwlookatmybabyspider the conspiracy part is that the variant was deliberately named to be an anagram of no crimbo or moronic.

@BlackAmericanoNoSugar has anyone actually met someone who believes that though?

My conspiracy theory is that the microchip thing was made up by "the powers that be" either to sell media / headlines or to make any tiny little bit of smoke (however small) seem like it was coming from the microchip nutters? (So media or pharma I guess?)

I dunno 🤷🏻‍♀️ I used to spend time reading their subreddit (before it got banned) because I found it kinda fascinating and I'm a writer so it was a genuinely useful study on human nature. It all seems to have gone quite wild these days (I posted the newest theory earlier - wild!) but for the longest time it was pretty standard stuff. Loads of "paramedics" claiming they had 20 heart attack call outs that shift etc. There was rabbit hole stuff too but none of it as far fetched as microchips and 5G.

The other stuff I noticed was that their theories would often get a massive injection of steroids and kool aid before it became mainstream / reported.

So for example I remember seeing some stuff about metallics contaminating batches in Asia(?)... that started out as a conspiracy theory on there but by the time it was reported it was more like "conspiracy theorists say there are MAGNETS in the vaccine and it's turning everyone MAGNETIC!!!".

I always wonder if the Bill Gates is planting microchip trackers inside us is the same sort of thing because I never saw anyone on there who claimed it or believed it (and it was a big, active subreddit).

@dropitlikeitsloth

That Courtney Love hired a hit man to kill Kurt Cobain. The more I’ve read the more it seems it could be true, especially when you see the different handwriting on the end of Kurt’s ‘suicide’ letter.

Apparently she's responsible for Kristen Pfaff's death too.

There are quite a few very interesting and fitting anagrams

The birds are not real is a conspiracy theory started by one man. He sells t-shirts and other merchandise associated with it. He swears he believes it. Personally I think he just made it up, maybe as a bit of a laugh and makes a bit of money out of it.
I have never met anyone who actually believes it though.
