What shall I do in Kensington tomorrow - messed up my NHM booking!

So I thought I’d booked NHM for me and 2 children @ 1pm. Just checked my booking confirmation and it only has my name on...I’m going to try to get in anyway but assuming they turn us away, what can I do with a 14 & 12 year-old instead... checked VAM & obviously that’s all booked. Thought we could wander round Harrod’s food hall as they’ve never been but I’m guessing there would’ve queues to get in and we cba with that 😬

Fortnums a good idea too...with the incentive to buy posh chocolate!

Thanks all!! I hadn’t realised Design Museum was round there, we could try that. We’ve been to Science museum & Kensington Palace recently but we could easily go again! Skating is a ‘no’ for the 12 yo, unfortunately! That would’ve been a great activity...

I had no problem booking Science Museum entry tickets - all the exhibitions are sold out, but there were plenty of general entry tickets (and very little social distancing and it was BUSY).

Try the science museum, otherwise take a walk through Green Park up to Fortnums and have a wander there.

Catch the bus up to Marble Arch/Piccadilly /Oxford Street.

But hope you get in!

There's the Design Museum on High St Ken - could try that?

If you like skating, Queensway rink is the other side of Kensington gardens. Kensington Palace could be interesting for the kids. They might have an interesting exhibition on.
