Good bad songs

What's the most uncool song that you've downloaded? I can be strutting into work with my headphones on listening to TLC, Nirvana, Metallica when suddenly shuffle switches to Portrait of my Love by Matt Monro or Requiem by London Boys, even a couple of Bucks Fizz's finest! Trouble is they usually put more of a spring in my step! Anyone else have questionable favourites?

I once put Riverdance on the pub jukebox and the reaction was so horrific, I had to pretend it was an accident GrinGrin

@hollyandkit

I went out for a walk at lunchtime and there was a man blasting out Bryan Adams' Heaven from his car, drumming along on the steering wheel, not the least bit embarrassed - goals.

That would be my DP Grin

Dolly Parton is not 'bad'! I won't have a word said against her.

The songs from Footloose are cast-iron too.

I love 'Africa' by Toto.
Black Velvet by, is it Alana Miles?
The Carpenters.
The Bee Gees' songs are deathless. And Elton John. Crocodile Rock, Tiny Dancer, Rocket Man, I Guess That's Why They Call It the Blues... I could go on. You just can't argue with them IMO and I don't care if they're not cool.

I love the London Boys. I find it quite poignant listening to them now, as they're sadly no longer with us.

YY to Islands in the Stream

& Dolly Parton - Jolene.

Footloose always gets me dancing and singing along. Quite like a bit of Belinda Carlisle too.

@fatherfintanstack

Don't think I noticed listening to Steps as a kid but hasn't Claire got an awesome set of lungs on her?!

She really does, I may have seen Steps in concert accidentally (twice) and she's got a fab voice

Oh god that new McFly thing, the one that Des O'Connor could be singing the chorus of - Happiness - I quite like that coming on the radio.

Until I think of Des O'Connor.

I've been listening to some of the old dancey tunes too but they're certainly not embarrassing, just making me miss being in my teens in the 90s. Smile

I've a more embarrassing 9 to 5 in my Youtube listen history, Sheena Easton Blush
