This month's Glamour magazine has a very good article on rape, so I thought I'd look through the rest of the magazine to see if it stood up to the ideals, or if the rest of the magazine was just as entrenched in our rape culture as any other magazine.

(a bit of a serous one to start us off, sorry)

There's a thread on the article here.

What a Difference a Page Makes or why sometimes how much we enjoy a book isn't actually to do with how well it's written...

My blog psychologymum.wordpress.com discusses parenting issues with a grounding in psychological research. My most recent post discusses mindfulness techniques for children and teenagers.

I have written a e-book 'Psychologyfor parents: Birth to teens'.

I talked about my realisation that sometimes, instead of trying to change my children's behaviours/emotional patters etc...I need to take a look at my own.

hmm the point of being so pleased with myself is that the meringues are STRIPY - but that seems to have been missed off the link

It seems very trivial to get so excited about something like this, but I made meringues. Very pleased with myself.
