I'm first - are the rest of you still in bed!

If you enjoy reading or writing short historical version I've got an interview with Sally Bland, editor of Snapshots of History, on my blog

A quietish blog week for me as my wife is still away and it's potty training time which is keeping me busy (and thoroughly entertained!)

But I have had time to post these two so far...

Home Alone 4 - Is two company and three a crowd? All about adjusting to having my wife away and then back again
Mulberry Jam recipe - I love picking fruit, free food!

So I've gone for a ranting Friday theme today:

I found this interesting

You know that error message when a link is broken - 404 not found - it can be used to show pics of missing children.

I discovered a WP plug-in that takes literally minutes to install and does all the work for you. When someone clicks on a broken link, it shows this

Oh I like that recipe, RecipeJunkie! I made the Domestic Sluttery chai cake a few months ago and it was a bit of a faff as it involved soaking the mixed fruit in chai tea overnight etc. It was still BLOODY LOVELY though. :)

I just found you all! I am very excited to have a great number of blogs to go and read, I have read some of them already, they are all brilliant and make me nervous!
Like homelessmummy I am new to blogging, new to MN Bloggers. I am also new to twitter and have felt quite disempowered by my lack of social media awareness and knowledge Blush but thanks to some time off work and boredom, I have learnt more in the last 10 days than in a very long time about a lot of things.

So here is mine measly offering from today

How my daughter's been transformed from a sloth to a clock-watching competitor. And I think it's all thanks to Mermaids.

National Poetry Day today. The theme is 'stars' so I've ignored that and written about the Post Office.

A long but cathartic post - so needed to get it out of me - about the difficulties of breast feeding after an early induction and c-section. Some angry stuff about maternity wards and post-natal care but despite a horrid start we made it to 15 months - whoop, whoop - by when I have to confess I wanted my boobs back!

...breast feeding...

I haven't been posting links to new posts on here for a while. Ds1 is doing well with this taker.

Today's post links to a brilliant short film (not made by me obviously!)
