Top tip: if you open a dining room door to find two life-sized clown dolls sitting in front of a fully laid table, YANBU to knock 5% off your offer (at least).
Our hosts are also baffled by Mumsnet users' collective fear of leaving washing on the line overnight, rejecting various assertions that 'spiders will rub their willies on it', 'it will collect owl dribble', and 'it will be possessed by the evil spirits who live at the bottom of the garden'. However, the user who discovered mysterious green insect eggs in her gusset does give them pause for thought.
And last, but definitely not least, A-list adjudicator Ulrika Jonsson reveals both her hatred for other people’s happiness and her firm conviction that you should never take your weighing scales on holiday. Duly noted…
