New baby/toddler group

I am looking to setup a baby/toddler group in my local area for siblings and 0-5's. I have 2 under 2 and struggle to find anywhere that allows both my boys to one class.

My question is do you think this will work - half hour music (singing, dancing and instruments) and half hour kids freeplay (soft play, bricks, puzzles) and refreshments. Allows the guardians 30 mins to interact and chat to other parents and socialise. Each week will have a different activity - maybe a craft for those that wish to do it/messy play etc.

I really want to stand out from the crowd and being something different to the table

Thankyou in advance for your feedback

This is probably area dependant but there are about a million of these groups near me, mostly run by old ladies in a church hall for a few pounds.

If you don't have anything like this near you I imagine it would be very popular (they are here).

The only thing I would suggest is make it 1.5 hours or even 2 hours. That's how long they last here and I think most people want to fill a morning/get their money's worth. Most run 9:30-11:30 and there are some that do 1pm-3pm.

Will someone else be looking after your children?

I’m sure plenty of parents will enjoy what you are offering but it sounds fairly standard, so don’t expect it to stand out but many parents will just grateful to get out and chat with friends that they don’t really mind what is offered.

Sounds great, I’d make it longer. More so for the older ones.

These classes are very popular but they’re usually 2 hours.

The classes near me are 45 minutes long - nothing lasts longer than that here!
The churches run a stay and play for a couple of pounds but there's so much interest in other types of groups. The only groups here are either all music or all messy play so I thought the half and half would be great. Also there's no time to chat to others at these 45 minute classes as your ushered out the door once the songs finish.

My partner will have my children at the start but once I'm established then I will bring my children to class with me and have my mum helping out - that way they won't miss out on all the fun
Thankyou
