NHS Bank Communications - What's the deal?

I have an interview coming up for a bank communications role with a Commissioning Support Unit. I was wondering, seeing as it's a bank role, whether they would be hiring multiple people at the same time (i.e. my chances would be pretty high of a successful interview if I don't completely balls it up!)

Also, has anyone else worked in or with people in this role. How is the work dished out. I've worked in many full time communications roles so I'm not sure how it would work on a ad hoc basis.
