I've just gained a first class honours degree in Psychology and was planning on becoming a psychologist... However, I keep coming back to doing a social work masters instead as I love helping vulnerable people and would also like to be involved in safeguarding, creating policy etc in the future.
I have over 12 years experience as a youth and community worker so have worked in partnership with social workers before but I'd really like an honest account of what its it's like please?
Questions I'm wondering include;
What is the masters like? What are the hours like? What are the different areas? What are the best and worse parts? What's a regular day involve? Is there promotion opportunities?
Thank you so much in advance!
