New Job

I started a new job just before lockdown and since then I've been wfh. It's my first job in a 6 years after not going back to maternity leave.
So I've been here 6 weeks and I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm extremely busy and falling behind already Blush
I feel rusty with even the basic IT related stuff because I've been out of the office for so long. The role is in a completely different industry to where I was pre kids and everything sounds like a foreign language.
Wfh means I can't seem to get away from it and I work with a bunch of over achievers (Big4).
At what point will it make sense and will I stop feeling overwhelmed? I feel like I'm asking the same stupid questions all the time. And when I stop myself from asking a q and try to figure it out...I make mistakes SadSadSad

Starting a job during a lockdown must be very challenging. Can you go to your boss with a suggested answer rather than a question when you are not sure? Makes you look proactive but there is still the safety net of them correcting you if you are wrong.
