My husband was promoted within and started the role on August 1st.
He works for a huge multi national organisation.
His salary was due the increase 28th August, however he was just paid normal salary.
The company was being bought out in the midst of this and excuses were made, need to sign a new contract, then his boss authorised the payrise, however, because its over 50k it needed to be approved further up so another contract.
My husband was then suspended for a week, blocked from all systems - suspected of taking kickbacks from clients. He was cleared but someone else wasnt so was dismissed for gross misconduct.
Husband happy to still have his job.. went back to work and pushed payroll for a date when he would be backpayed.
Had an email last week from payroll (because we asked for it in writing) confirming amount after tax and date it will hit our account, which was tomorrow.
Husband went to see payroll today to ensure it was going in... what a surprise they got the date wrong and its next Tuesday as has to be after 2nd week of the month?
He is owed £3164 in missing salary since August.
I just cannot see how this is legal???
