Just some advice really. I’m a qualified solicitor and am about to start a will writing business (Willis and trusts were not my specialism before). I will be backed via a will writing company for insurance etc. I am currently just on the Law Society roll (have been non-practising for about 2 years) but am concerned about the grey area of potentially being seen to hold myself out as a solicitor and thereby triggering needing a practising certificate. Would I be better to simply remove myself from the the roll and not even refer to it ?.... I have no intention of going back into a roll requiring my former qualification..... advice ?
Many thanks
