Hello! Mumsnet Jobs team here. We've noticed this thread is fairly old now, and some of the information is out of date. We've put together this article of advice, tips and tricks to start working from home. Alternatively, you can look at the work from home opportunities on Mumsnet Jobs. We hope this is helpful!
----------
I'm currently self-employed but business is very slow this year and I'm struggling, so I'm looking for employed work. However I'm a single parent with no childcare, which limits my options somewhat. My DS is 11 so can entertain himself while I work at home but he's not really old enough to leave for a full day while I'm out working in an office or whatever, so I'm looking for either term-time only or a WFH role - yep, I'm after the holy grail of jobs! I've been looking everywhere - from all the main job sites like Indeed and Monster to places like Gumtree - and the only WFH jobs seem to be Avon, MLMs, or just sound totally dodgy ("earn £5k per month working just 10 hours per week").
Does anyone have any suggestions of potential employers that offer genuine WFH roles? It doesn't have to be full time but ideally I need a regular number of definite hours per week, so I can budget properly. I have a spare room home office space and nearly two decades of experience in Marketing and Admin, so I'm raring to go.

Are there actually any genuine work from home jobs available?
