hmmmmmmmmm ... it looks like it might be more of a procedural thing rather than an active decision. Sad

" ... Opposition politicians questioned whether the PiS could muster enough votes to pass the amendment, after parliament delayed a sitting scheduled for Wednesday for two weeks.

“...They don’t have any ideas how to resolve the situation in Poland, they do not have a majority in parliament (in favour of the bill), they are afraid to answer questions,” opposition Deputy Speaker Malgorzata Kidawa-Blonska told reporters.

PiS lawmaker and Deputy Parliament Speaker Ryszard Terlecki rejected any suggestion that the government lacked a majority on the issue, saying the postponement was related to the coronavirus pandemic. ... "

Totally against anything that makes access to abortion easier so going against the tide on this one.

If you think that making abortion illegal is a good idea, then feminism chat is not the board for you.
I am all for engaging in constructive debate with people we disagree with, but I would struggle to do that with someone who fails to understand the very basic point that making abortion illegal is a huge violation of women's rights and bodily autonomy.

That maybe although I am hugely in favour of not killing all the females that die without the opportunity to ever make it to womanhood. Said feminists only seem to ever consider what might affect them.

I’m beginning to think you’re a troll. You always pop up on abortion threads.

You’re wasting your time.
