Depressing article really but what gets me is that they could watch a video of a woman being raped and then say well it was probably just rough sex. What are those police officers doing to their partners?

Also why was a male police officer ever coming to take the story of a rape victim in the first place?

That's awful. I fear it's quite common for women to be dismissed in this way by the police.

I do not understand how there can be video evidence of a rape and it not proceed to court as a minimum. CPS are acting as judge and jury for the victims in refusing to bring these cases.
