Just a heads up to say the tickets are on sale on Eventbrite. Anyone else going?

Mayday01 Tue 13-Mar-18 20:34:13

I will probably go to this, just checking on childcare. Have been waiting for it to come to Cymru!

QueenOfQuacks Tue 13-Mar-18 20:40:01

Just bought my ticket smile An old friend is speaking and I am really looking forward to hearing what she and the other speakers have to say.

Argh sorry, I didn't see this. Will report my thread grin

BeyondDeadlySiren Wed 14-Mar-18 09:50:24

Mamas, it's so they have a name for each ticket.

Jog22 Wed 14-Mar-18 13:10:57

I've just bought three. It just put my details through each time. I have 3 different ref nos so I assume that's ok.

FreezerBird Wed 14-Mar-18 20:00:50

Oh, I was really hoping to get down for this, but we've just got the date for DD's surgery and it's on the 13th, so I'll be with her that night. Please feel the waves of sisterly support coming at you from the west!

LightofaSilveryMoon Wed 14-Mar-18 22:59:23

I have just bought my ticket. Glad there is a WPUK meeting in Cardiff - thanks!

Coming from the Swansea Valley. Train from Neath, probably.

Pythagonal Thu 15-Mar-18 01:12:12

Just bought my ticket too!

CisMyArse Thu 15-Mar-18 06:16:40

See you all there! I may get the train from Neath too, actually. I'll PM you if I am. I'm
Not sure how much TRA activity there is in Neath/Swansea but since our large Uni is just up the road, I'm assuming there could be a presence. I can do without the grief!

CisMyArse Thu 15-Mar-18 06:19:04

See you there Beyond!

Light, I'll PM if I'm getting the train.

CisMyArse Thu 15-Mar-18 06:20:08

<wonders if now is the opportunity to advertise this event to my militant feminist colleague>

CanIBuffalo Thu 15-Mar-18 06:25:54

Place marking till I can check my diary.

Mayday01 Thu 15-Mar-18 08:25:52

Ticket bought!

Mayday01 Thu 15-Mar-18 09:01:37

May also get the train from Neath.

Also thinking of going. Not sure though. Im socially awkward and im a total betty no mates blush dh not interested (are men even allowed?)

If i do go i will also be getting the swansea/neath train. Im also worried about TRAS what with there being 2 big uni's. Going home on the train is not something ill be looking forward too sad

silveradodreams Thu 15-Mar-18 11:40:41

I'm going alone. My flaky friend said she'd come with me and let me down. But I'm still going.

Pythagonal Fri 16-Mar-18 00:26:56

I'm probably going alone too, but I'll be getting on a train from Newport. If anyone else is coming from that direction and fancies meeting beforehand, please let me know.

Are we all going to carry a packet of Pombears so that we can recognise each other?

PeanutButterSquash Fri 16-Mar-18 04:20:42

I'd like to attend but are transwomen welcome?
I'm what they call "truscum" which is a tad ridiculous, given by their beliefs (that I'm 100% woman and completely the same as all of you in every respect and now biologically women) they should surely call me a Terf, but hey. Whatever.
I'll have a read up and hope it's ok that I attend and add my support, if not I'll buy a ticket for my very gender critical and fabulous mother.

Mayday01 Fri 16-Mar-18 07:04:05

My trans friend is also thinking of coming Peanut, I think everyone's welcome.
