I can't get it on my radio. If your blood pressure can take it, can you report back?

It's available now. It's the first hour of the programme (link above).

Still fuming about it.

Its a phone in. So far, no one has talked about having to wash your bloody knickers in the sink in front of men. Its as if they've never had to do it.

Kaye Adams always does this with the trans issue, as if the transwomen was too vulnerable to speak.

Same shiny. I wasn't bullied but we used to take refuge in the girls toilets/cloakroom a lot. Don't know what we'd have done without it.

I agree shiny. The woman (Mary's?) granddaughter's needs were so clearly not as important as the needs of a transgender girl.

And the transwoman on it said that women used to be a "minority" but that then 'WE' (said the transwoman) campaigned and got the vote so are now equal. NO WE ARE NOT A MINORITY! We are 50% of the population and we were told by the other 50% that we didn't have the wherewithall to vote. Because WE are female. (And you are still male.)

And it was pretty infuriating about all the 'we have gender neutral facilities at home so what's the problem?'
Aghhhhhh!!

How infuriating regarding the feelings of the caller's granddaughter being dismissed. Yet another example of the discomfort felt by many women and girls on this being considered irrelevant or something we should just get over, whilst the wishes of the group of people who wish to infringe on them are prioritised. As for the comment shiny quoted from the presenter, that to me is another example of pandering to the said group - letting them make these points and demands but saying to have to defend them would be too difficult/upsetting, thereby also subtly (or perhaps not so subtly) that women and girls are being unreasonable and even bigoted.
