Women wearing jeans cause earthquakes.

Grin Grin Grin Grin

Of course. Surely everyone knows women are responsible for every single thing that is bad from earthquakes to global financial disaster and, of course, every single rape that ever was.

Wars, pestilence, cancer, murder, suicide, road accidents, bring it on fellas. It''s all down to us evil wimmin.

Men, of course, are paragons of virtue. Oh, wait a minute…..

Yep it's all down to us. And all we have to do to fix things is stay at home dressed like a sack of flour.

If only someone had told us that before. It makes perfect sense when you think about it.

Not unlike the UKIP councillor who claimed that gay marriage caused floods...

I like this comment on the article:

'The last thing Pakistan Army to do - get into the jeans of womenfolk of Pakistan. Why not experiment just opposite what he says let menfolk - including this Maulana Fazlur Rahman - be covered like sack of floor and stuffed into rooms and womenfolk allowed to take charge of Pakistan - evidence being Malala Yousuf Zai is winning more hearts and acclaim for Pakistan than any menfolk !!!'

"let menfolk be covered like sack of floor and stuffed into rooms and womenfolk allowed to take charge of Pakistan"

And you call this "equality"??

"evidence being Malala Yousuf Zai..."

Who? Oh yeah, the girl who (like thousands or millions of others) survived a gunshot, and was then made a celebrity by the British media and is now a multi-millionaire and living in a rich, posh part of Birmingham and attending a very expensive private school.

She wasn't exactly poor to begin with as her father owns many schools and properties in Pakistan. There were also 2 other girls shot with her, so how come Malala gets a pass to an upper-class lifestyle in England and they don't? Could it be because she has all her teeth and is more photogenic and was already from a wealthy family?

And re her speeches- her father writes them all.

Because back in the day when women did stay home and not wear jeans there were no natural disasters ever....? (Was Mrs Noah an early Levis wearer?)

Do you honestly think he believes that tripe himself? Methinks Jamiat Ulema-e-Islami Fazl only said what he said because he knew Western feminists would get all wound up over it. He's a master troll.

I don't know malala personally but i know someone who has known her since probably days after the shooting. I also know vaguely where in Birmingham she lives, similar area to friends of mine who earn similar to me
I think janninkla may well be full of shit.

Countless thousands of young people survive being shot by terrorists in the Middle East year after year. Where is their ticket to an upper-class life in England? How come Mallala gets one and they don't?

Not trolling, serious question.

I am actually feeling very pissed off with cis, heterosexual feminist women.
I had so much power - floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, causing general uneasiness in the world - and then the feminists had to come and take over. If you want to know real oppression then you should have the power of causing misery taken from you.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Sneerfest 2015. Free, fun, anyone can play. You have an icon, I'll take a pop at it. All in the spirit of opening up an honest debate of course. Facts an optional extra.

ps Carrie, I am sorry for your loss. Have you tried capitalism? Not so spectacular but the effects can be just as devastating in the long term.

Report
CarriesBucketOfBlood · 02/06/2015 10:48

Annie Thanks for the suggestion. I once tried capitalism but I had to pack it in after a particularly harrowing experience in a queue in Argos over Christmas 2013 and I decided I couldn't be bothered to be oppressed by The Man if he wasn't even going to print me a gift receipt for my effort.

Look, is anyone paying us for causing earthquakes? Just another example of women's labour being taken for granted.

From the head of the article:

This story is erroneous. It was based on reports over a satirical peace appeared on a Pakistan website. We regret the mistake.

However, nude tourists have been blamed for the earthquake in Malaysia.

Do you reckon this one was satirical too Partial? I recall thinking at the time it must have been a joke...

Love the idea of satirical peace Grin

the nude tourists deserve what they are getting, to be fair.

Basically they went to a foreign country, behaved like idiots, posted it on Facebook, and then ranted on about how the country they were in was primitive and stupid.

And now they are in prison.

Why on earth have you directed that question to me? grimble

I am not here to decide whether a site is satirical or not. I merely drew attention to an update.

Though I agree that 'satirical peace' is certainly an intereting concept.
