We should ask Farage to sign No More Page 3

Nigel Farage is urging women to be discrete when breast feeding in public - perhaps sit in a corner etc. - so as not to make others uncomfortable, particularly older people who might feel awkward and embarrassed, though not him he assures us….

Sounds like we should ask Farage to sign No More Page 3. After all, plenty of people find page 3 makes them uncomfortable. Can Farage spare a thought for them too?

Why can't we just set up a petition to sponsor Farage to do a bunjee jump.........without the bunjee.

Oh god, yes, absolutely! That's genius grimble.

"Since you object to even a tiny peep of breast, we know you'll want to get rid of Page 3. And have all mags with breast visible on the cover withdrawn from display."

Fantastic idea, Grimble!
Do we need a hashtag?

I'm not on twitter or Facebook (too many years wedded to a computer so MN is the only board I use now I've retired).

If someone wants to set it up though I have no copyright on the idea Grin.

Have to be careful not to suggest he is offended 'cos he says he isn't - it's all the other poor souls (especially elderly ones like me he is thinking of…..)

If we're going to ask Farage a question, could it not be: Hiw far can you fuck off before we miss you?

The page 3 one is a good alternative though Grin

Diverting the thread slightly…Farage and Brand are on Question Time next week. Now there's a couple that deserve each other.

A same sex marriage made in heaven.

Think how much that would fuck the weather up!

I have a nasty feeling Farage would 'win' that one. Brand is a bit of a one trick pony, and Farage has the knack of saying the right thing.

But a question there about Page 3 (and/or covering newspapers and magazines whose covers are unsuitable for small children) would be one ai'd like to see both answer.

Hahaha brilliant idea!

Personally am looking forward to seeing Farage and Brand on QT. Am hoping Farage will come off as a knob. I know a lot of people don't like Brand but I think he comes across as sincere and a lot of what he says resonates with many people. Tbh they are both 2 sides of the same coin, a massive disillusionment with the powers that be and many people's struggle to just get by these days.

Who are these "elderly" of whom he speaks?

My 70 something mother breast fed me for nine months.

My 90 something DGM looked at me wistfully when I BF because she was told by doctors that FF was better and more scientific.

Is he thinking of centenarians? Are there many of those at Claridges?
