Spare Rib:

www.guardian.co.uk/media/2013/apr/25/sarah-raven-relaunch-spare-rib

I am interested by the involuntary kick of joyful recognition I feel at the remark "not to be exercised by common feminist canards such as "the dearth of women on the boards of FTSE 100 companies". God I am so fucking bored of hearing about that and I didn't even realise! I mean in principle yes we want women represented everywhere and surely that would have some sort of knock-on effect on everyone's lives. In practice, the washing up actually affects my life. And YAWN such a TEDIOUS corporate focus. Business is boring as horse-shit and business-business-business talk everywhere as the ONLY important thing is depressing as fuck. (oddly though I find Xenia very entertaining, why is that?) (And washing up is boring too! But entertaining ways of writing about getting men to do it would be more interesting than all this dutiful stuff about BUSINESS)

So who is going to lob £100 Raven's way? Xenia? Bonsoir?

I'm not sure if this isn't some kind of joke. I'd like to see Spare Rib revived although it sounds a bit odd as described in the article. But George Galloway and Rod Liddle - eugh!
