I'd read the article first...as it's not designed for women. It's designed for men to inspire a little empathy...though I still disagree with it

Did you read the article? The game doesn't seem to be that you have to shoot the men, you have a polite response option as well. Men are supposed to play it, rather than women, and it was designed so that men realise that a polite 'no thank you, have a nice day' doesn't really cut it when men are more agressive in their 'advances' than just an introduction and an offer of a drink. Apparently it is clear in the game that violence doesn't work either, so the player comes to realise that there isn't any solution that fits all situations, and there isn't anything you can do to stop the advances coming, you just have to deal with each incident as it happens.

That was my understanding from reading the article anyway. I haven't played the game, and would be interested to play it just to check whether the article has represented it correctly.

"I wear baggy jumpers and pants when walking my dog ? even in the heat of summer." And on and on it goes.

This, I think, is a great way we can show our young men the effect their behaviour has on all women. My daughters often express disgust at the comments made at them by men and boys who probably don't think they're doing any harm.

I don't condone violence, having been on the receiving end in a relationship. I thought it was an interesting idea, one that could appeal to the younger generation, especially those who are gamers.

And, no, it doesn't work in reverse, because women do actually die or are seriously injured when they say no to men. The most dangerous time for women in abusive relationships is when they leave ie when they say no, enough is enough.
