Betmakers William Hill fight cultural femicide

Amidst all the absolutely justified critique of the Sports Personality of the Year's all man, no woman shortlist, in a year when women athletes have done so well, I wanted to post something to spark a smile. Betmakers William Hill, those renowned activists for female emancipation, have launched a female alternative and sent me a breathlessly enthusiastic, randomly capitalised, erratically punctuated but actually rather good-hearted press release about it. I've written a short thing about it, and (the serious thing to say) am pleased at least that the original shortlist has garnered immediate critique from everyone to sports fans, sports writers and MPs.
