Hey just looking for a bit of reassurance or other people's experiences cos honestly I feel kinda silly I'm only noticing stuff now.
I had my 2nd Child last year, via forceps (just like my first, and lost loads of blood). Since then my periods have been normal and I've felt a bit like I have a pad or weird feeling down there, and I have only just had sex for the first time 8 months after the birth (between recovery, post natal depression etc it just hasn't been on my radar). Well I've been a bit uncomfortable since the sex so I had a look down there just to check if any swelling/discharge etc in case of thrush or whatever then realised things don't look right at all, definite bulges etc and now I'm on my blooming period. so I'm going to call gp on Monday or should I wait until after period? (no doubt I'll have to tell receptionist what I think it is). I suppose one good thing is the OH hasn't noticed anything was bonkers down there.
I was just wondering what is likely to happen - will gp take a look or will i need a referral to some fancy thing? Does it sound mild? Has anyone else lived with it? I'm worrying about things like should I keep having sex or can I use tampons etc. Or how long it will take for gp to check and diagnose stuff. I havent spoken to my partner or anyone about this cos I can't.
