Yes how about The Crimson Petal and the White by Michael Faber. It's set in Victorian times though is that any good? It really is a brilliant book

'Sex Work' by Frederique Delacost and Priscilla Alexander.

'Tricks and Treats' by Matt Bernstein Sycamore

'Diary of a Manhattan Call Girl' by Tracy Quan

'Madam: Inside a Nevada Brothel' by Lora Shaner

These are all American books, but you should be able to get them on Amazon. The first two are non-fictional accounts written by sex workers about their jobs and client.

There was a book by a woman called Dolores Frenchabout 14 years ago, can't remember what it was called though. It was very good, about her work and how she got in to it

I lived next door to a prostitute once. She was lovely, used to give me beer when I was impoverished and come round for coffee. Was odd sometimes coming home and seeing her sitting in her bay window!

GGG
A homeless centre or drug treatment clinic might be a place that can help you with hands-on 'research'. Outreach organisations, women's clinics, etc. can also be sources.

I did a third-year (university) women's studies research paper on women who worked daytimes in 'white collar' 'professional' industries but who - between low pay and high student loan debt -prostituted themselves to afford a 'middle class' life (rent own flat, run a semi-nice car, have good clothes for work, occassional holidays, etc.). I found a lot of my 'sources' through a classmate who worked as a stripper whom I used to tutor, however.
