I hope I've spelt that right. I want an easy read for a forthcoming holiday and there was an interesting interview with her in the Sunday Times- she's a forensic anthropologist and writes fiction about it.

Has anyone read anything by her and is it any good?

I think I read deja dead. It was alright , but not spectacular of its 'genre'!

I read one.
Nearly passed out from the boredom.
if you want predictability and a book that reads like a movie, then she's your gal.

I've read a few of her books but wouldn't go out of my way to read more of them. I swear every other page has a description of either what she's eating or what she's wearing.

I've read most of her books and I quite like them. They are a bit samey once you've read a few but individually are pageturners and I find anthropolgy, forensics and the like quite fascinating so will quite happily plough my way through them.

It's ok if you haven't got anything else to read.

I have all of hers......

I do like her books (and so far, as good as patricia cornwells early ones), but I cannot read them too close to each other.

loaned them to a friend however....she has not been abe to get into them at all.

I've read them all . Generally speaking the earlier ones are best. Avoid Cross Bones, it has rather a Da Vinci Code feel at times. Worth a go if you like Patricia Cornwell.

'Tempe' much more rounded than 'Kay', not as paranoid and the murderers not as weird. The stories are quite gripping and the bone science interesting although could be made up for all I know. She's an author I'll look for in the library if I know there's a new book out but not one I'd go out and buy.

I have one.. first one I think but its on my "To Read" pile.. I will get around to it one day... but have just packed it up as we are moving house on the 19th!

I do like the show though... so I'm sure the books will be even better... though I suppose no david boreanaz to oggle.

I didn't realise there was a show. I think I might avoid the books for a while- thanks for tips.
