It is good, in an odd way - all the characters are oddballs but likeable too. I enjoyed it and found it an easy read.

I love Ann Tyler novels - they're completely absorbing but never too taxing.

I'm not actually a big fan of Anne Tyler, but I really liked The Accidental Tourist.
