I have had the What to expect first year and beyond book out of the library and liked it as I had already bought the pregnency one and the 1st year one( although dh got a big too involved with checking the monthly bits at the start of each chapter) I also like the baby whisperer before, did not follow it to the letter but found it an easy reay with lots of good ideas to base things on.

I was wondering if anyone has used the toddler one that is now out.

Not read the toddler book but I liked the baby whisperer book too. I watched some of the baby whisperer's TV shows where she was dealing with toddlers and there were some good ideas in those so maybe the book would be good too.

Hi there
I used the baby whisperer book a lot and found it very helpful. For some reason I didn't find the toddler book as good and preferred Toddler Taming (Andrew Green) but maybe I have read too many of these books! I agree about 'What to Expect' as I got a bit worried about my daughter who seemed to be late crawling/walking etc. In the end I ditched it! Maybe try and borrow these books instead of buying in case you don't get on with them?
