So over the past few months I have read all 22 of of the Jack Reacher books, and now I feel completely bereft! Does anyone have any other suggestions of addictive page-turner type crime/adventure/mystery books? Preferably in a series so that I can binge read! Thank you!

I love Jack Reacher but before I got into that I was massively into Harlen Coben books, maybe have a look into them? They're similar to Reacher in having the same central character. Although there are some of his which deviate from the main character. Also good! They're not literary masterpieces but I LOVE them!

David Baldacci books are very similar, he's written loads, should keep you going for another month.

Youtube has a few of his audiobooks if you want to try out a sample

Robert Crais definitely. Start at the beginning of the Elvis Cole series. He's different to Jack Reacher but lovely too.

Ok, so even though these are supposedly teenagers books, I love the Alex Rider series by Anthony Horowitz. I love jack reacher too.

I love Lee Child but also love Michael Connellys Bosch series. Second Harlan Coben.

Yes, Harlan Coben's Myron Bolitar and Robert Crais's Elvis Cole/Joe Pike novels are great. Joe Pike is very like Reacher! I saw Robert Crais do a Q&A once where he was asked whether Joe Pike or Jack Reacher would win in a fight!

I also love Jeffery Deaver's Lincoln Rhyme books and Sara Paretsky's V.I. Warshawski books.

Patrick and Kenzie books by Dennis LeHane if you like Roert Crais.
Jonathan Kellerman's Alex Delaware series
Sue Graftons alphabet books, sadly she died a few weeks ago with only Z to go Sad

I'm a huge Reacher fan too. David Baldacci has some similar stuff. Also take a look at the Vince Flynn books.

Some brilliant suggestions there - thank you all so much! I think I might start with Michael Connolly as I enjoyed The Lincoln Lawyer (that's him, right?), but Harlan Corbin also sounds like a good bet.....

@Knittinggurl Michael Connelly's Micky Haller books are what you're after if you liked 'The Lincoln Lawyer' (although there aren't many of them). I love those. I find Bosch a bit too dark though.

@Cocolepew I didn't know about Sue Grafton! That's really sad! The Alphabet series is great too.

why hello there, it's my people!

I like Alex Patterson but they definitely feel much trashier / more disposable than Reacher. I'll give harlan coben a try based on this.

Have you read James Patterson's Alex Cross series? If not I'd recommend those!

I can't believe no on has mentioned Daniel Silva's Gabriel Allon series! I read mostly classics by choice, but every holiday/festive season I read a Jack Reacher. I read an interview with Lee Child who himself recommended Daniel Silva, so on the next holiday I tracked one down and, although I have only read two (the most recent ones) I really love them. They have all the action of Reacher but a bit more history / art / politics. Perhaps if Lee Child and Dan Brown worked on a novel together this would be it! The protagonist is an Israeli spy / art restorer who deals in the world of international intrigue - think lots of Russian and Iranian antics. Each book I have read is mostly set amid the politics of a certain country - they seem well researched and an interesting background to the constant action of the plot. Give it a go if you see one! I am so glad to find the series as I had been rationing the Reachers I had not read, but now I have lots more holiday options!
