I either want:

A new fiction book which I know I'll love

Or

A beautiful edition of an old favourite. Does anyone know of any nice editions?

The Folio Society editions are beautiful, if you want a favourite title in hardback. I am similarly torn, between spending on a few paperback novels or one big coffee table tome that I wouldn't normally buy myself. It's a lovely dilemma to have though, isn't it?
