I've got to pick a book for our Book Club and I was wondering whether this would be a good choice???? Anyone read it and if so, what did you think? Our BC is not full of rampant feminists Smile but wondered whether it would provoke a good discussion....?

It's a good, thought provoking read. And very, very funny. She is spot on with a lot - porn, bras and big knickers spring to mind. Should get you talking - my partner (male) and I have read it and I have passed it on to teenage dd!

Do you realise it's non fiction? It is good, very easy to read, part memoir part feminism-lite. Dont expect anything groundbreaking.

Yes, it's very funny. More of a memoir with feminist slant than an actual feminist book.

I started it this morning and I'm almost half way though already (even read it while brushing my teeth).... it's hitting the nail on the head for me. And funny.
