Comfort and Joy. It's a follow on from My life on a Plate.
I bought it for DD to give me by way of ExH (keep up Xmas Grin)Obviously I can't wait and am reading it first.
It's good, very MN (lots of refs to things that have been covered here. I snorted at the white dog poo ref on page one). Not saying she's nicked the ideas btw, I love IK, just that it's very MN.
I do like it but not as immediately as I did the others. It's praps more of a grower. But I like it very much all the same. I'm started it last night and am halfway through, I'm saving the rest for tonight. Will keep you posted Xmas Smile

Aren't you good? I have to give mine to my Mum to keep away from me or I gorge on them.

Her earlier ones must be pennies on amazon, they've been given away with magazines and I see them all the time in charity shops. My life on a plate and Don't you want me. Both v funny IMHO. This latest is a little darker but I think worth a go.

The two on amazon are £13 which is ok. But now youve mentioned the other one. I might have to get that too Grin

I love reading, especially on holiday and the thought of getting through books without any interuption for a whole week is just beyond exciting Wink

Oh good. If you like hers I'd say that Rafaella Barker's Hens Dancing, Summertime and Green Grass are also in the same funny vein. Slightly more grown-up chick lit without mentioning Manalos or Facebook every ten minutes. I like them muchly Xmas Grin

I thought it was ok-love her columns and her non fiction books but feel she is more suited to journalism rather than fiction-she is very witty but her characters and plot lines are a bit predictable imho.

Bought it to read over Xmas. Liked her other books so expect to like this one too.
