Weight Watchers

Weight Watchers circa 2011?

Hello

I did weight watchers in around 2011 or 2012 and did really well from it. Got to my goal weight whilst being able to eat with DH and having treats. Being able to earn extra activity points really helped too. Whenever I've tried it since (I think the plan changed?) it hasn't worked for me at all.

A friend mentioned that ww had changed again recently and there were now 3 pathways. Does anyone know if any of the 3 resemble the old style ww plan that was around in circa 2011??

Thanks!

Hi I’m not sure about new plans but I used Pro Points system a few years ago, I think that would be what you were using in 2011. I’ve recently put on weight round my tummy due to menopause even though my BMI is normal, 24 , so I’m just going to stick to what I know with Pro Point system as used it fit so long am familiar with it. Your allowance also changes depending on age and activity level so I’m on less daily allowance than years ago when I did it sadly. I wonder why they change things so often at WW.

The green plan does, the other two allow more free foods but the green is similar to the older system where you get free fruit and veg and everything else is pointed

I did it in 2014 when there was healthy and filling. Lost loads on that because crumpets were "free" and I had three with scrambled egg every lunchtime! Lost well over two stone though! Not sure about 2011 though.

I use an App called Ultimate Value Food Diary which dupes Pro Points.

I’ve been doing it since 2012, and it suits me down to the ground. I’ve had 2 babies in this time, and put on 4st, it’s not a problem with the plan Blush

Nothing is forbidden, I just have to balance my days. I love the 49 ‘weeklies’.
